Print As A Service
Verity Group now offers Print as a Service (PAAS). This differs from Managed Print Service, by including the printer or multi-function device as a part of the cost per page price. You can now get a print device, the required consumable supplies and maintenance service for one set cost per page. You have no upfront purchase cost for the device. In simple words, it is a frictionless concept, much like Uber is to ride sharing and Airbnb is to room rentals… no costs or headaches associated with ownership. This concept has taken hold in network I.T. services over the last few years and it is now coming to printing. and document output. Instead of an initial cash outlay or lease for the equipment and then the purchase of supplies and need for often costly service… you simply pay one set cost per page for everything. The main difference with PAAS is that all assets (printers, copiers and supplies) sit on our balance sheet and not on yours.
The major benefits of our Print as A Service option include:
- The installation of a non-invasive “Data Collection Agent” (DCA) to track and collect page count information, supplies level/utilization and for proactive repairs.
- The delivery of the equipment and initial supplies. The training of your end users and key administrative staff. Assistance for your I.T. department with network setup, and the mantainance of your device up and running so downtime is at a complete minimum.
- The conduction of an on-site user and administrator training of the solution implemented to include all employees of the location where service is implemented.
- The agreement to list the Equipment on our business personal property tax rendition and pay the tax due.
